Paper Submission Guidelines

Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting your paper.

Prepare your manuscript using the Persian/English paper templates provided at the end of this section.

Using the visual guide for registration and paper submission, upload your paper through the ICBME 2026 submission system.

Papers will be accepted only within the specified submission period and through the ICBME 2026 submission system. Papers submitted by email will not be accepted.

The paper submission deadline is September 14, 2026 (23 Shahrivar 1405). Please refer to the “Important Dates” section for other important deadlines. Authors are strongly encouraged to submit their papers as early as possible and not wait until the final days.

For all papers, both Persian and English, the title, abstract, and keywords must be entered in English only in the submission system. Authors of Persian papers are also required to provide the English translation of all relevant information, including the title, abstract, and keywords, in their submission. The English section of the conference bilingual proceedings and CD will be prepared directly from this information without further editing.

For all papers, a Persian-language abstract file must be uploaded first when submitting the paper files.

When entering the paper information, please make sure to select the correct paper language.

Please ensure that the names, affiliations (university/institution, etc.), and email addresses of all authors are entered correctly in the ICBME 2026 submission system. Please do not create a new user account for individuals who already have an existing account.

Please note that papers that do not comply with these requirements may not be correctly included in the conference program, proceedings CD, or conference booklet. The responsibility for any such errors rests with the authors.

The maximum standard length of a paper is 8 pages. Additional fees apply for pages beyond the applicable standard page limit.

The complete version of all papers must be uploaded in PDF format. All requirements stated in the registration and paper submission guidelines must be followed.

The conference registration fee must be paid after paper acceptance and before submission of the final version of the paper.

Each author may submit a maximum of 8 papers.

English papers may, after payment of the IEEE Xplore indexing fee, proceed to the subsequent stages for possible indexing. Compliance with IEEE manuscript preparation guidelines is required for indexing. These requirements will be reviewed and reported after the conference by the IEEE Iran Section. Important criteria include the quality of English writing, compliance with academic English conventions, and the absence of substantial textual similarity with previously published documents. The similarity percentage of the papers will be checked again using the relevant software.

Please note that receiving an acceptance certificate requires attendance at the conference and presentation of the paper. If you are unable to present the paper yourself on the conference date, you must designate one of the co-authors as the presenter in the submission system after acceptance. If none of the authors is able to present the paper under any circumstances, please refrain from submitting the paper and paying the review fee in order to avoid unnecessary costs.

At the Iranian Biomedical Engineering Conference, papers will not be accepted unless at least one of the authors is a faculty member of a university.

Please note that if you withdraw from presenting your paper after the review process, or if your paper fails to meet any of the requirements stated above, the paper will be removed and the review fee will not be refunded.

Registration Fees

The registration and participation fees for paper authors are listed here. All fees are in Iranian Rials (IRR):

* Group registrations of more than 10 participants are eligible for a discount of up to 20%.

Important Notes

  • For all registrations, lunch (with student and special conference meal options available) and accommodation, if requested, will be charged separately during the registration process.

  • Meal costs will be charged separately at the time of registration if requested by the participant.

  • Authors of Persian papers exceeding 6 pages (up to a maximum of 8 pages) must pay an additional fee of 1,500,000 IRR per extra page. This amount will be added to the registration invoice. For English papers, the standard limit is 5 pages, and the paper may be extended to a maximum of 8 pages by paying an additional fee of 2,500,000 IRR per extra page.

  • Registration without paper presentation includes refreshments, the conference proceedings booklet, and participation in scientific sessions, panel discussions, and lectures.

Presentation Files

Authors of papers accepted for oral presentation at the conference must upload their PowerPoint presentation file to the IDAS system within the specified deadline.

Authors of papers accepted for poster presentation must upload their poster file to the IDAS system within the specified deadline.

It should be noted that when a paper is presented at the conference by one of its authors, either orally or as a poster, there will be no difference in the publication process for Persian and English papers based on the presentation format. Both oral and poster presentations will be handled in accordance with the announced conference regulations.
